John Rinker was raised as a third-culture kid and has been teaching in international schools (Ethiopia, Egypt, Morocco, Pakistan, South Africa, Myanmar, China and Nepal) for the past 29 years. An Apple Distinguished Educator and tinkerer extraordinaire, John believes that the most profound and enduring learning happens when we allow children to connect their hands, heads and hearts through the medium of play. His DIY mindset encourages him to look at problems in novel and playful ways and to create imaginative solutions. As a teacher, John is inspired to leverage the best that technology has to offer in creating meaningful learning experiences for each of his students. |
